I have completed this game many times and brought everything I can so why is ther still a space for another stage in the museum menu of the game right under the bowser space station?

That space is for DK banana bonus, which is a purchase with party points. Go to stages, and you can buy that stage for 1,000 party points!
You buy the stage "DK Banana Bonus" for 500 party points. If you play on it you can get heaps more party points.
