Lol it depends...
If you have other Mario Party games, it's up to you if you like them and want #8...
If it's going to be your first Mario Party game, I say get it...
Also, it is the first one for the Wii, so it is the best game so far thanks to the Wiimote controls and the new Mini Games, Boards and Characters...
I like it - I've played #1, #2 and #3 for Nintendo 64 and have #4 for GameCube, but I got this one because I haven't played #5, #6 or #7 - that's my reasoning!!!

Yes, yes YES! Mario Party 8 is an awesome game, good for parties, or single player. There's always something to do.

This is a game worth getting if you have two or more controllers. If you only have one controller then go out, buy another controller and buy Mario Party because this game works best in parties.

Yes, if you don't play it like crazy, and if you have someone to party with. Buy it if you haven't played any other mario party(1-7), you'll like it. Hope this helps!!!
