Everytime I try to play party mode or something my game keeps bringing up an error and I don't know why. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Maybe is because the disc is scratched like have you travel to places with Wii? If you had the disc in the Wii when it was in the car turned off, that might be the cause. You will need to buy new disc of Mario Party 8!
Is your disc scratched? Try using toothpaste to clean it if so, it really works! Also, if it's an unofficial copy, this problems happen normally. Try calling nintendo if you need more assistance, hope this helps!
I use to have the same problem when my Wii was layed flat. If that's the case then try to stand it up.
