How can I get three stars in each cup?
50cc is the easiest in Grand Prix, yet no matter what I do for some cups I can't surpass a two or single star rating. I always get 60 points (which means I get first for all four races) and I always beat the computers by 2-10 seconds. The only times I go off road are for "shortcuts" (like in Mario Circuit I go behind the Chomp to go on the speed thing); other than that, I never die or go off-road. Why can't I get 3 stars in these cups?

To get 3 stars, you need to go near perfect in every race. Hitting obstacles or walls significantly hurts your chances. Falling off the stage means it's pretty much over. Try staying in first as long as possible, and finish the race as quickly as possible. The better you do, the more leniency you'll get when it comes to racing errors. So avoid your Mario Circuit shortcut unless you have a type of mushroom or a star, since that will hurt your 3 star chance. Also, keep your 60 points up, you NEED 60 points to get 3 stars.
