Question for Mario Kart Wii

When I go online see people with star on wheel or just stars I only have gold wheel because I use wii wheel even when I have like 8000 vr still gold wheel I had the game for like 3 months can someone tell me how you rank up on wi-fi tell me everything wheels on star gold wheels on stars or plan stars double or triple

Um, those aren't aquired online. They got stars on their profiles because they beat all Grand Prix's with those amount of stars in each one. It's do-able but very difficult.
