I just got wifi connection. I tried playing tournament, but a message came up saying that I have to wait until one starts. What does it mean by that that

What you can do is have it to where you recieve messages from the Mario Kart people. In the mail it will tell you when the tournaments come on

It means that there are no tournaments taking place at that time. So you have to wait until Nintendo announces one on the wifi network.

That means there's no tournament at the time the message appears. Just wait a few days to enter a tournament. Hope this helps!
