Its the internet. You can get a computer router, like what a laptop computer uses. Or goto a store and get a wifi to hook up. Most people uses a computer router. From $30.00- $150.00 depends on the range you need. How far the game is from the router. Its wireless. Best Buy, Walmart, Target type stores does have them.

To connect to wi fi you need to have a wireless router/modem and you can connect to that from your wii by going to the setting on the console then you put in details then your done, and ready to race online. I hoped this helped.
