getting pass speakers

Okay I have made it to where I need to shoot out the speakers but everytime I go through the door to do that pickman comes on and says what he needs to say and I die so what do I need to do I'm not a good shooter at all

To get past pickman, what you need to do is kill the orderly coming down the stairs and take his tranquilizer gun then shoot pickman with the tranquilizer gun.
