Each team assigns different values to your trade based on a whole lot of factors.

Value is mainly assigned based on if the team needs the player your offering and also the other teams staffing. Check the breakdown of other teams to see what they need, Also I find keeping a 85-89 qb for trades is very handy since when a team loses a star QB the free agents are around 80.

Many stats have importance but speed is the most important at 99 once your out of dive range your inzone bound regardless of other stats

Another way to ensure a trade with the computer is to add draft picks or other players that aren't highly rated.
Also, you can go to my madden on the main menu, and then go to nfl rosters, then go to trade player. You can make any trade not involving draft picks here.

If you want someone AWESOME just when you finish the season get a Really epic Guy like a 99 overall and trade.

A sure way to make any trade is to go to my madden on the main menu, then nfl rosters, then trade player. You can make any trade here that does not involve draft picks.
