Question for LEGO The Lord of the Rings

In the Black Rider part of the game you need Merry to fish at one point. I get to that point and do not have Merry do I have to buy him and Pippen before that level or what? If I have buy them where do I go to do so?

I have the same problem! I even exchanged my game thinking it was a glitch! Not sure what to do. Looks like all 4 hobbits are supposed to play the whole level.

I too have this problem! I don't think we can even buy Characters in Story Mode, so this must be a glitch. What should we do?

You actually have all four Hobbits. Bring up the character wheel and choose Merry to fish.

all you do is press c you already have him as 1 of your charectors

Nope I dont,
if I press C I can choose only between Sam and Frodo.
There is no Pippin and Merry.

Your meant to have all of them if you have it for pc its no problem just keep trying ok
and you do have them merry and pippin so it might be a glitch that your xbox/computer/wii/ps3 is doing sorry apart from that i cant help ...

Bring up your character wheel and choose Merry. All four Hobbits are available to use in the level.

You have to follow a road around the edge of farmer maggots veils go get into the fields to play this section. It is located on the map.

Im playing on xbox 360 freshly bought lego lotr, and after completing the black riders I will be back at shire,AND NO, WHEN I OPEN THE WHEEEL THERE IS NO MERRY AND PIPPIN, AND WHEN I WANT TO PROCEED TO BREE I HAVE TO PLAY AGAIN THE GODDAMN BLACK RIDERS

This is not a glitch. All Characters that are in the level are in the "Character Wheel". Hold the "C" button on the nun chuck and the character wheel will open up. Move to the character you want and then you'l be able to play as them!

You hold the c button and then you select them from the circle that pops up
