My son is stuck on some invisible ledge along the outside wall of a building. I have no idea what level it is--nor does he. Anytime I walk off the invisible ledge, he dies, and ends up back on the ledge again. Is there any way to get out of this without having to quit and lose save data?

Pause using the plus button. Scroll down all the way to the bottom, and select "Exit Level". That will lose your progress into that level, but it will not erase your game progress. I can tell I'm a little late, but in the future, you might want to know.
