I have unlocked and purchased several red power bricks but they dont do anything. Is there something I'm missing to get them to work?

If your on wii press and go to extras there you can turn on and off the things you bought.
you have to pause then go to the extras section go down to the extra that you want and press X
When you go to extras at the bar you gog to extras to activate new items.
