Ok so I have almost all of the artifacts I'm missing like 2 or three out of the 180. Alot of them glow different colours and I was wondering what that was all about

They are bonus level unlockers. When you finish all three artifacts that glow blue, you get a level called Young Indy. When you finish all six artifacts that glow yellow, you get the level, the ancient city. When you finish all nine artifacts that glow red, you get a level called the Warehouse.
