Question for LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7

I am trying to beat Lovegoods Lunacy. I can't hit death with the first pumpkin. I can pick it up and it spins, but it falls at his feet. How do I hit him with it???

I had the same exact issue. It's kind of tricky. While it's spinning you have to let go of the button really quick & then press X quick. Try it.

i had the exact same problem. don't try to aim the pumpkin directly at him; go all the way left. it doesn't look like it'll work but i beat it. finally.

I just figured it out. While spinning, hold the left controller in the left direction and then press X. This will throw the pumpkin to the left which is the only way to hit the death eater.
