Is your remote working? If so, check the black sensor thing. Sometimes the position it is in will affect your game play

Chels5177 answered:

1. Your sensor on the top or bottom of your TV might be in a bad spot so you just have to move it facing you.
2. The batteries on your wii remote might be dead, you can check it by pressing the home button on the remote then you will see if the batteries are low

nintendopony360 answered:

First, try moving your sensor. You might have it too high or too low. If that doesn't work, try checking your Wii Remote. Is the blue light on? Press the HOME Button to check your batteries. If those don't work, I don't know what to tell you. The first Just Dance had some minor and major issues and one of them is the bad score tracking. As a result of the score tracking, the best an average person would be able to get is OK. I hope this helped!
