Question for Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility

I'm on winter in the first year but I can't figure out when I can't see how much my animals like me or how much people like me

Well all you have to do is hold down the c button

Hold down the C button and shuffle though until you see the multi-colored heart. That displays how many hearts you have with people, livestock, pets, and island animals.
