Okay so I made 30 dishes as he asked but some of them were the same things...like I made 16 fried egg and say 2 grilled cod. Am I supposed to make different things? If so then can I make things that are blended?

I think you do have to make different dishes. I think you can make blended things because they are still dishes. Try catching a bunch of fish and grilling them. A. You'll get the recipe B. Give him one of each. Go after the simple dishes first. There is a guide here that tells you all the recipes, it's very helpfull.
You can NOT make him liquids and anything grilled doesn't count either. You can, however, make him multiples of dishes.
