Your child will grow up after you complete all the rainbows and give your child the journey rucksack! Hope this help!
For Your Child to be fully grown (and so you can finish the damned game) you need to have successfully completed all of the rainbow recipes, and then create the Journey Rucksack, after you can play over as your child but you will look the same as you played the first time round'.
