All you have to do is go to the mine and start digging around the 9th level. Get to deeper levels and you should find more.
YEah. Just whack the moles whenever you get the chance to, and they'll release a Pontana Root. If not, they'll release Toadstools, Mushrooms, and "Stay Awake" instead.
