Question for Guitar Hero World Tour

Possibly a stupid question, but just a mom who is trying to have fun with kids. We have most of the Guitar Hero series, and like to create different band names to use for our different bands (ie Mom and dad, or just Mom and one kids etc...) Can we do that? Everytime we try to create a different band name, it wants to wipe out the old name. We want to keep multiple band names. Can we do this?? Can we do this on all of the series? We have Wii, GH World Tour, GH 5, VH, Aerosmith, Smash Hits,and Band Hero. Thank you so much for helping us!!!!
