On part 3 endgame what do the numbers in the top right corner mean?

The number of deaths that have taken place during the battle. The battle ends once eighty kills have been reached, therefore making it impossible to beat the chapter by clearing the goal of 'routing' the map.

The death counter does not only increase when you kill enemies. If any of your units or the ally laguz units die, then the death counter will increase.
