Pit stops

When ever I make a pit stop it takes about 20 seconds in the pit box...it takes about 10 to refuel and then the car stays stationary for about 10 seconds, any ideas?

it could be the tyre changers being slow or the people who jack the car up for the tyre people being slow

Guest answered:

it should only take ten seconds in the pit box but about 20 seconds to go through the pit lane with a stop

this is bad
Guest answered:

It is the same with mine but quite often takes longer(eg:15 or 16 seconds), but once you get higher up in the game and are with better teams they will get slightly quicker

Guest answered:

Yea like get a better team and I think they do that so like at the end of the race it'll be close but it really annoys me because I'm winning a race then go to 10th in 1 pitstop

Guest answered:

It really depends on how many races you have done with the team you are with when you do ore races it gets faster but if you are with the quickest team when you do a full season with them it will be incredibly quick

Guest answered:

It depends how good your team is.

Guest answered:

Yeh it might just be that the team is slow and if you are in a career then the more races that you do with that team the faster the pitstops will get.

Guest answered:

Because the best pit team is maclarren farari and red bull

Get your team and train them, as more u do faster it gets, find out every single action taken in the pit stop, may be u can help to organice them in a better way, may be someone is not well positioned or things are not as ready as it should, u could film it and study it

Try to change your pit stop strategy . This way the pit crew dosen't take as long to add fuel.
