You can not FIND the rare orbs. You must GET the orbs by completing bonus levels
When you get all the KONGs on each island, you get a bonus level which you have to complete, the orb will show up at the end of each bonus level. Good luck, it sucks :(
In each level you have to find all the letters K O N G

It's really HARD!!!
There's another way. I couldnt be bothered collecting all the letters and finished the game with 700 coins, so I just bought them from Cranky Kong's Shop in each section. (this is on the 3DS version, don't know about wii version)
