Question for Battalion Wars 2

How do I beat the final mission- "The Reckoning?" It really gets difficult when I reach the Mining Spider, because of the fighters and the battlestations! The heavy tanks also seem to provide no strategic advantage

Ok get the battle station really near the mining spider on an glacier and start firing command the anglo fighters to start destroying the strato destroyers even if the bombs try to get you they'll miss becuz you're too close to the spider and it's not risking the chance of hurting the spider. And if the spider shoots at you don't worry the shots aren't that good it'll take a lot more
