Is there a cheat to get a bunch of money?

There isn't a cheat but you can change the date to easter or christamas, then collect all the speacil items then sell them for quite a lot of money. I do this if I need a bit of extra cash.
You could fish and catch rare fish. I do this when I'm low on money.
This isn't really a cheat but it will give you LOTS of bells. Unfortunately it will give you lots of weeds and some of your villagers may move away. These are the steps.
1) Deposit 50,000 bells into your bank.
2) Change the date to the year 2000.
3) Go into your town, then quit.
4) Change the date to the year 2099.
5) Go into your town, them quit.
6) Change the date to the correct year.
7) Go into your town. You will receive 99,000 bells in interest.
