Question for Animal Crossing: City Folk

Hi I have seen a few golden stars on the ground am I ment to pick them up cos it's not letting me, or are they actually nothing. Im new had the game 3 days lol

You need a shovel to dig it up. It can be a fossil or one of those meganoids. Then you take the fossil to the museum to see what it is. You can keep or sell the meganoids.
