No. You do not plant mushrooms. They just show up in your town under trees.
No, you may not plant any mushroom. Flat, Skinny, Round, etc. Mushrooms can be sold to Nook's shop from 200 - 350 bells. An Elegant Mushroom is for extremely lucky players, being found on random days in November. Flat, Skinny, Round, etc. Mushrooms give you items {randomly} every day, being called "Mush" items. Which also happen to grant you generous happy points with the HRA [Happy Room Academy.] An Elegant Mushroom is sent to you in a letter from Mom, most likely from October 30th-November 2nd. They can also be found, as stated before, randomly throughout November. 1 or 2 Elegant Mushrooms can be found a day, and will, sadly, not give you furniture. BRIGHTER NEWS-- Elegant Mushrooms sell at Nook's for 10,000 Bells. Mush furniture ranges between 1,250 bells - 3,750. Hope this helped
