Well, first you have to make sure your Wii is connected to internet. Once your Wii is connected and you have Wi-Fi, you can get a friend code. Just head over to the gate and talk to Copper. Tell him you want him to register you a friend code, and he will be happy to register you one. Then, swap codes with a friend and visit each other's town whenever you like!
