How do I get a perfect town - specifically???

I literally had no grass up until last week. I took in all of my hybrid and flowers that I cared about, then time traveled back to March 1 and one day at a time, I have logged on, saved, advanced the date, etc.... About once a week (in time-travel time), I "tip toe" as slow as I can to either Tom Nook or Redd's and have picked up some rare stuff. I've been extremely careful with walking and it's paid off... My grass is about 90-95% back with just a couple of faint walkways and those are dwindling down. I have NO weeds. I have brought my flowers back out and have distributed them all over the place and now that I've done that I'm watering them everyday which takes forever with as slow as I have to walk to not damage the grass I've grown. I have easily over 150 flowers. When I ask Pelly about the town environment she is somewhat vague saying that it's not a failing grade. It would be a D or on a good day a C. Geez... It was that when I had NO GRASS! I read somewhere that if you divide the town into a 5X5 grid and make sure that you have 12-16 trees in each section and 4-6 flowers, that I'd be all set... Well I have that... Honestly... What do they want! How do I at least get them to tell me more? Supposedly I need more greenery... Does that mean I need 100% of my grass, more trees, more flowers.... What??? Has anybody gotten a perfect town rating (or at least something above the C/D grade) without 100% grass? I'm thinking about taking my flowers back in and time traveling back to May and doing this again, but I hate to lose any more town people that I like. Please help!

Wow thats really working hard!!!!!
Well you most likely need more trees in an acre (if you put a design on the ground 16x16 would be 1 acre)
you should have 17 trees and at least 3 flowers in each acre or atleast 8/16 acres
hope this helps!!!!!!

When they say "greenery" they mean you need more flowers. Plant LOTS of them. You can never have too many. You don't need more trees unless they specifically say "trees." We are in the process of creating a perfect town and a good rule of thumb is to have 4 or more flowers for every 1 tree. Good luck!

All you need to do is put designs on the ground.you have to seperate your town into acres and one acre is 16x16 and once you put down all your designs make sure there at least 10 to 17 trees and lots of flowers in each acre.hope this helped.

I agree witht he above answers except for this: NEVER put designs on the ground, it will kill the grass underneath. Instead use a shovel and dig holes. The holes will disappear when you start the next game

Grass has nothing to do with getting a perfect town rating. It is all about your trees and flowers. Each acre should have 12 to 15 trees with 3 flowers. Any less or more trees than that then increase the flowers.

As for the grid, each acre is a 16x16 grid. Mark the borders with patterns. Easiest way is to start from the top corner and work your way from there. Once you have your acres marked go check how many trees you have. Chop down if you have more than 15, plant if you have less than 12. Once you have the trees ok start with the flowers.

Good luck!

You should try to have just the right amount of trees. Don't have too little and don't have too many. I think you're ok with the flower aspect though. Also make sure that there is NO garbage on the ground in your town.
