Once you have deposited 1,000,000 bells into your bank, your recieve a gold card and VIP status, whats the difference between the gold card and the normail shopping card

Well it's like shovels you can have a gold on normal it's just a gold version so it's just fashion
I'm not quite sure if it does anything in particular, but I'm sure it's just for looks.

It has no other purpose, but to me it's the thought that counts. Also the golden shovel does have a purpose: it will allow you to plant a money tree by burying any amount of money. Once it has grown, shake the tree, and you will have three times the amount of money you buried.
