I donated 500,000 bells at one time hoping to get the fountain in my town. But first I got the bridge and I thought, oh well it is supposed to come first, but after a few weeks, way after the bridge was built, they never announced the building of the fountain. So I decided to donated 200,000 more bells to see if that was the problem but nothing happend. WHATS GOING ON!!!

The problem is you need to donate another 300,000. I had this problem too.
I didnt. I got the bridge then the fountain right after. This could be happening because of the size of you town. From what I've seen the bigger you town is, the more you have to donate.
I keep on giving the town so many bells but I give it in small porstions not all at once how do I know how much I have given.
