Well when your in the city go to the left side and the is a door and it sais you need to be a member how do u?

Its not a "City Club", it is what is known to us as the Black Market. Its Redd, a character from previous Animal Crossing games, and to become a member there, you need to first talk to him, then go back to your town. If you walk around a lot, one of your neighbors will randomly come up to you, ask you about Redd's Place, and asks you if you want to join. Then, the next day, if you said yes, your neighbor will send you a invitation you could use to gain access there. Though, to become a permanent member, you need to pay him 3,000 Bells upon entrance. He will also give you a letter that you could use to recruit a friend of yours over WII WIFI so both of you can enjoy overpriced rare items XD

What sundaver said only I wouldn't trust that pace, all paintings are fake and the items are ridicoulously overpriced

It is a blackmarket,
You have to be invited, the items are sorta good,

BUT ALL PAINTINGS THERE ARE FAKE.

Well last time I had a town called bolton and there was this girl called merry in it and she gave me a invite the owner of that shop is her cousin and the stuff are fake so you wont wanna buy stuff from there Hope this Helps
