Bloom brush techique secret.

OK, my sister discoverd this one.....if you use bloom on people instead of plants, they'll show hearts and pet you! If you do it to people of the Oina tribe, they'll transform into their wolf form instead. (This trick won't work on people that are busy doing something like, trying to close the wawku shrine gate, for example. Strangly, it works on the running people that you race.)

Ice statue

In Kamui (area with Oki's home) Go to the tree. Go right until you fine Ume and Kokari. To the right of them is the 3rd dojo. Theres a big pile of snow near the dojo. Slash it to get a statue of Amaratsu (WITH Divine Instrument). Then go into the dojo and leave. Slash it again to get another person. (Issun x1000, Sakuya, ect)

Names and refrances

Otohime in japanese means "Sound Princess". I find this quite amusing actually cause Sound is diffrent underwater.

Kaguya and her Grandfather - This is the oldest Japanese tale. Kaguya means "radiant-night princess" while her grandfather is Taketori-no-Okina (the Old Man who Harvests Bamboo when translated) Plus Kaguya is really from the moon, even though the game never really says. In the tale Kaguya was sent to Earth due to a celestrial war (or in some versions, a crime.) Also she is taken to the Moon agenst her will, although in the game she goes on her own but is upset about her grandfather. PLUS I'm not sure if the ORIGINAL Kaguya was blond or not but I think it's just a joke from the anime Sailor Moon, because Usagi (Serina...sp?) is blond and her nickname in the manga is BUNNY... And Kaguya in the game has bunny ears!

Nagi - The real name is just Izanagi. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Izanagi)

Nami - Izanami is IzaNAGI's love. So the first part of the game is based on this I guess. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Izanami)

Orochi - Its full name (Yamata no Orochi) means ""8-branched giant snake" Who is later slain by Susanoo the Shinto sea god. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamata_no_Orochi)

Susano - Real name is Susanoo....Who is Amaratsu's brother in mythology. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susanoo)

Shiranui - "unknown fire") is a Japanese term given to the optical or supernatural phenomenon similar to Will o' the wisp.

Amaratsu - Amaratsu is a GODDESS, So that kinda messes up Issun's speach in the begining of the game and my other submission... So does that make Ammy a herm? Anyway Amaratsu means (that which) illuminates Heaven...Plus it's kinda strange how Amaratsu was born from IzaNAGI's left eye. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amaterasu)

I don't remember this guys name...- The legend of Urashima Tarō (浦島太郎, Urashima Tarō?) is a Japanese legend about a fisherman who rescues a turtle and for this is rewarded with a visit to the Palace of the Dragon, or Ryūgū-jō.

Remind you of anything? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urashima_Tar%C5%8D)

Issun - "Little One Inch?" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Issun-b%C5%8Dshi Includes Lucky Mallet)

The Cutters - Shita-kiri Suzume translated literally into "Tongue-Cut Sparrow," is a traditional Japanese fable, telling of a kind old man, his avaricious wife, and an injured sparrow. The story explores the effects of greed, friendship, and jealousy on the characters.

Uh, sorry I don't think Mr. Cutter is kind (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shita-kiri_Suzume)

Canine Warriors - This is a refrance to the novel Nansō Satomi Hakkenden

Kitsune - Meaning Fox, and as a boss hes suppost to be able to trick people. (Rao, anyone?) Plus The more tails a kitsune has they may have as many as nine the older, wiser, and more powerful it is. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitsune)

Yami - I guess this version of Yami is a refrance to the Tibetian Yami. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yami) Plus Yami means "darkness, the dark, black-marketeering" Interesting

Gotta love refrances huh?

Gender Bender

Sakuya says "Great Mother Okami Amaratsu" even though Issun refers Amaratsu as a male in the begining of the game. It is possible that Shiranui was a female but I highly doubt it.
