Play as the NBA Mascots
Select 'Play Now' mode and at the 'Enter Initials' screen type in 'MAS' as Player 1's initials and 'COT' as Player 2's initials. Then go to the 'Select Team' screen and you will here a confirmation noise. Hit the + button and you will be able to play as any NBA Mascot.
