Unlock Lanky Kong:

Complete Topaz on Rookie setting.

Unlock Tiny Kong:

Complete Sapphire on Rookie setting.

Unlock Funky Kong:

Complete Diamond on Rookie setting.

Unlock Cranky Kong:

Race him in 'Candy's Requests' - Level 3, Mission 24.

Unlock King K. Rool:

Race him in 'Candy's Requests' - Level 4, Mission 31.
