In response to Fireblaze's Furon Attack hint, the gatama atoll beacon point is in a cave somewhere near the edge of the map. It's hard to give an exact location, but keep looking down when you are walking on the edge of cliffs. It sticks out slightly, and is pretty easy to find if you know where to look.
