It took me a while to destroy the German tanks here, especially the final wave from the south. If you're flying a Messerschmitt like I was, or a Spitfire like is the default plane for the mission, then you really only get one shot because it takes so long to turn. The tanks start so close to the bridge, so what you need to do is come up from the front and strafe as many as you can with your machine gun and drop your bombs. I suggest you fly low, you get better aim with your machine gun. You won't get all the tanks on the first run, but then you need to turn around as fast as you can because they will almost be there. If you crash after destroying the last tank it's fine because you're at the next checkpoint.

I suggest you use the Messerschmitt, it has better agility than the Spitfire so it goes around turns easier. That's important for this level.
