Way of the Samurai Cheats and Tips

This is at the first morning that you are in the game. Ignore Tsubohachi, go to the foundry, and talk to the guy there. He'll talk about history. He gives you 3 Yen. Attack him! You kill 100 people, very weak in easy mode, killable in one stabbing attack. Easy for raising kills and learning techniques. If you do it and beat all 100, he gives you 10 Yen. (The fighters randomly drop money) Do it again, and leave Rokkutsu Pass. You get the Random Slasher title!

Unlock Versus Mode:

At the 'Title' screen hold L1 + R1 and press Square + Circle. If the code has been entered correctly you will hear a confirmation sound. Versus mode can also be unlocked by killing the sword smith.

Unlock All Sword Skills:

In Versus mode pause the game and hold R1, then press R2(2), L1(2), L2(2). Release R1, then press R2. If the code has been entered correctly you will hear a confirmation sound.

Increase Sword Hardness:

Pause the game and hold R1 + R2, then press Right(2), Left(2), Down, Up, Circle. Entering this code will make the main player's currently equipped sword increase in hardness by one. The code can be entered again until a maximum hardness of five has been reached (this code will not work in Versus mode).

THE PERFECT ENDING/THE SELL OUT ENDING

Watch the bridge scene and follow the group down into river. Watch Don-san come and rescue Suzu. She says she'll bandage his wounds. Now go up to the shrine. Watch the scene with Kyuga and the soldier talking. Now go down the stairs and right to Ipponmatsu. Go talk to Dojima the blacksmith so he knows you. Go out and forward-right to Kurou. Talk to Tsubohachi and ask to join. You'll pass guys talking about Kintaro (the baby). Go up to Tesshin and Muraski. Don't talk. Shiretoko comes. Just fight him, get your payment. Listen to the random talk - Shiretoko is to drive out the villagers, they're going to sell the foundry.

Go to Ipponmatsu (out and right) to the tree and hear if Tesshin takes control we'll be rich, we'll reign surpeme have pretty wife. ha ha ha.

Now go to the railroad area, up above the tracks. See the Akadema talking. They're going to defeat the Meiji, defeat the Kuroa. Kitcho sends you back to the Akadama house to warn Chelsea. Run there. Karibe says now I understand their plans. Chelsea says they can't be trusted. Karibe says that Hyuga's attempt failed. During gameplay press Start to pause the game then Hold L1 + L2 and press Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Square. This function does not work in Versus mode.

RESORE HEALTH:

Press Start to pause the game,then hold L1+L2 and press Down,Up,Down,Up,Right,Left,Circle.This canot be done in versus mode.
