How do you solve the Buck's Row Deduction Board? |
For the X360 version... Examine the "couples" nearby and the lone streetlight. Examine crime scene: barn/stable door, bonnet near hand and ground near body. Examine body: blood pool, throat slit, 2 bruises, tongue and stomach area.
During the re-enactment, have Watson stand up and attack with knife from all 3 directions. Have Watson lie down and use knife in left and right hands. Change killer's position to all 3 directions, with knife in left and right hand. Using bare hands, strangle Watson lying down, then standing up. Try all 3 directions when strangling standing victim. When you have all the clues and possible scenarios, you can complete P. Nichol's Deduction board.
Bonnet + poorly-lit + "exercise' = holding bonnet in hand = she wasn't afraid = had bonnet in hand, ready to "exercise" No blood on wall = slit lying down = throat slit Little pool of blood = blood didn't flow in strong spurts Dirty and damp ground = couldn't have relations on ground Didn't have throat slit while standing + blood didn't flow in strong spurts + couldn't have relations on ground = P. Nichols was dead before being stretched out and having throat slit Tongue is bloated = P. Nichols was strangled Corpse still warm + no footsteps + cut open throat = victim wasn't dragged = P. Nichols' murder took Place on the premises Bruise on right jawbone = hard pressure by fingers + standing in front to strangle = left hand stopped her from screaming = right hand for strangling + throat slit from left to right + sitting on victim, knife in left/right hand = is killer left or right-handed? = killer is strong man
If any of your presumptions on the right of the screen aren't green, change up the options in the middle until they are. |

From the X360 version... At the crime scene of A. Chapman, click on the fence, toilet, the apron on the ground and the cellar door. Then examine around the body. The blood on the fence and wall, the combs, the cloth, ground near body and the envelope. Then examine the body. The tongue, throat slit and 2 bruises. The ring band on her hand. And the stomach area.
If you've already analyzed the clue, the magnifying glass cursor will be clear. If you haven't, the magnifying glass cursor will be green. If you've clicked on all these things and the game won't progress to your Deductions board, then it's probably a glitch. |

Magnet Puzzle. I looked at a walk through and in it it talks ab.. |
From the X360 version... Your magnet (and the hole) is in the upper left corner. The other magnet (and the hook) is in the lower right corner. Slide your magnet down a bit, then make the other magnet go between the two blocks/obstructions on the right side of the pane, make the 2 magnets overlap, then use your magnet to follow the path the other magnet took back down to the bottom right corner. Then slide the top part of the desk to reveal a tiny hole and use the hook. |
