Quest 64 Cheats and Tips

Defense levels up by the number of times you get hit, not by damage so the best way to train defense is to fight a monster who can hit a lot of times in 1 attack. I'm not sure if this is a glitch, but, you actually level up at the same rate as the level you started with when the battle began. So if you started at 50 defense and last a really long time, you will lvl up at the same rate, so if it takes 30 hits to level up, then after another 30 hits you will level up again. This also works for Hp and Mp as well. For MP, you get experience for every successful hit, so something like wind cutter lvl 3 works good.

If you enter an Inn or 'Save Game' point and sleep you can then press B at the 'Save Game' screen to exit without saving the game.

When your battling against a wind monster, When he attacks move into the attack and it will miss but it wont always miss.

When battling a earth monster just run away from it lol =) Have fun!!!!!!

Ok people there is no sword and shield in Quest64 I have played through the whole game and I know everything about it I got all spirit stones and there is no ultimate attack there is no supper light beam after you get everything. The only thing there is is 50 spirts on all four elements. And 500 life, 500 mana, 255 on the rest of the stats and 40 items on the item pack. SO no there is no super cheats at all really. There is also no way to ride the horse. Impossible.

When you go into town (before you fight anything) go into the farmers house and there will be bread.

If you go past the town to fight the bread will be gone.

While being attacked by ware hares or other wind cutter monsters, when they attack, this is how you dodge them.

What you do is run in the same direction as the attack and stay close to it (not too close).

It usually misses you, but it doesn't always work. It's not that hard to master, though!
