You can get some free coins for the casino during Chapter 5 by continuously going back and forth throughout the cave that Taloon built that connects Endor and Branca. You will get the coins when a message eventually appears on the screen after several attempts saying that you are the 5,000 person to go through the tunnel.
In chapter 5 after monsters have destroyed the village go to where Celia was lying in the flowers and if you search there you will find the Feather hat which has a defence bonus of +8. It can be worn by Alena, Maya, and Meena.
The most powerful weapon in chapter 3 - Taloon the Merchant is the Sword of Malice which can be used as an item as well as a sword. Keep working in Taloon's home town until you are approached by a person that wants to sell you a Sword Of Malice. Buy it and keep it in stock. Do not sell it.
When you have found ALL 7 'Chosen Ones' (Ragnar, Alena, Brey, Cristo, Taloon, Nara, and Mara) in Chapter 5 you will be able to change the music on the Overworld to the following by placing the indicated character as leader.
