Dragon Ball GT Cheats and Tips

To counter attack when it says COUNTER!!

Rapidly press triangle+sqaure+circle together.

While doing this type in special beam code.

Doesn't matter what you press it just uses your powerful attack (super kamehameha).

When it shows you your demo then rapidly press triangle.

Doing this will make sure you hit your opponent with your beam.

WARNING!! This reduces your own energy (not the character yours)

Hope the people who can't do this enjoys it.

Bonus characters

At the title screen, press Right, Left, Down, Up, Right, Left, Down, Up,

Start. Then the following fighters will appear at the Build mode character

selection screen: Super Saiyajin Trunks, Super Saiyajin Seinen Trunks, Super

Saiyajin Son Gokuh, (Z), Super Saiyajin Son Gokuh (GT), Super Saiyajin Chibi

Son Gokuh (GT), and Super Saiyajin Vegetto.

Play as Super Saiyanjin 4 Son Gokou

Enable the "Bonus characters" code, then at the title screen, press

Triangle(10), Square(9). If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a

sound. Note: For the Japanese version of the game, press Triangle(5), X(9)

at the title screen.

Wire frame fighters

When choosing a character, hold Select to fight without texture mapping or

shading.

Alternate costumes

Select two player or training mode. Then when choosing a character, press

Square + X + Circle.

Sound test

At the title screen, press L1, L2, R1, R2, Start. Then, press Select after

choosing a song to view the lyrics and additional song information.

Play as Bra

Pick Vegeta and beat the game with him 20 times and then press up,down,square,O,Up,Down then hold up util the battle begins then Vegeta will be Bra(she fights just like Pan)

Goten(GT)

to play as Goten beat the game 30 times with Trunks then goten(GT)sould appener on tyhe charcter selcet screen

Kid Trunks

to get kid Trunks beat the game 50 times with DBZ SSJ Trunks then he sould be on the charcters screen

Kid Goten

to get kid Goten beat it with GT Goten then he sould apper on the carcters screnn

How to get access to sound menu:

press and hold the following at the same time L1+R1+l2+R2 but wait a few seconds before entering it and this one works unlike the other one posted here.

Sound test glitch:

this glitch only works for the Pal version only as far as I know when you are in the sound test menu press start on players two's pad to get a weird glitch up and press select on player one's pad to return to normal.

To view sound test scrolling background without the sound test screen:

Press select on player one's pad to view it and press select again to return the sound test menu.

Sound test buttons messed up:

the correct way are X=play O=stop

how to do smash metor attacks:

simply press and hold right or left (depending on what direction you are facing your opponint)and press R2 and when you have kicked your opponint press one of the combo buttons like triangle+O or triangle+square or X+triangle.
