You can save the game by going to options, or you can select to have the Autosave feature on, which is recomendable.

I have completed building a label, but how do you unlock the rest of the locked items?

The icon chain is unlocked by accomplishing Icon status in the build a label mode, style and multi-platinum records can do this. Also the others are unlocked by accoplishing milestones online. A winning streak winning a certain amount etc.

I have finished biulding a label but how do you unlock the rest of the items

I found that giving the 'Rappers' money, for there brands of clothing unlocked more cloths, I think you just say 'Yeah' to them all.
