It is advised that you make a backup file as this procedure involves editing a game file. Locate the 'aquarian.png' and 'aquarian_alt.png' in the 'Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonaquariagfx' folder and swap the names of those files. If done it correctly the symbols on the wall will now appear in English text.
If you have v1.0.3 of the game you can perform the following glitch. Select the ingredients to combine and then quickly press the 'Esc' key as the 'Cook' button is selected. If done correctly the cooking window will close, the item will get made, but it's ingredients will not be consumed. This glitch can be used to make as many food items as desired as long as you have at least one of each required ingredient.
