Vehicle Hacking

[Vehicle Security Bypass] This set of skills allow you to manipulate and remotely take over controls of vehicles which is very useful in pursuing targets, evading your pursuers, creating general chaos, exposing hostiles taking cover behind vehicles, or even killing targets covertly by running them over with proper timing and positioning.

Legend:

T - Recommended upgrade for the Trickster playstyle

A - Recommended upgrade for the Aggressor playstyle

G - Recommended upgrade for the Ghost playstyle

Vehicle Directional Hack (T/A)

• Botnet Resource Cost: 2

Hack vehicles to move in specific directions. Press and hold L1 then press the corresponding button per direction. If you pressed X (reverse) on a moving vehicle, it will come to a stop.

Hijacker (G)

Hack the electronic lock of cars, allowing you to easy steal cars without triggering their alarms.

Chopper Retreat Exploit (A)

• Botnet Resource Cost: 4
• Key Data: SFMOMA

Press L1 while targeting a chopper to force it to retreat.

Engine Override (A)

• Botnet Resource Cost: Drains 1 over time
• Key Data: Embarcadero Center

Press and hold X to trigger a speed boost to any vehicle. (Similar to Nitrous boost of racing games)

Massive Vehicle Hack (T)

• Key Data: Chinatown

When on foot, create mayhem by hacking all cars in the area at once. While driving, hack vehicles to distract drivers and clear a path. The effect lasts 10 seconds. No botnet resources is consumed but you have to wait for the skill to completely cool down before you can use it again. You also need to select it from the weapon wheel by holding the UP d-pad, select the skill, exit the weapon wheel then press R1 to use the skill.
