Stanford Challenge

(Rewards based on the race rank / performance)

This will become available after completing the main operation “Cyberdriver”. Head to the fury track and talk to Taylor to start the challenge. You’ll be joining an easy track eKart race. The track is quite easy and if you have unlocked the Engine Override hack, you can use that to boost up your kart’s speed as well. You also don’t need to stay on the main track; there are tight turns near certain checkpoints that you can go straight through to shave a few seconds of your time. After winning the race, you’ll get some money and some followers.

For the next part of the mission, you have to find a new eKart battery. Head to the marked location. The battery is inside an open container van in a restricted compound. You can sneak in or just use your jumper to retrieve it. After successfully retrieving it, the objective will be complete.

Castro Challenge

(Rewards based on the race rank / performance)

For the next part of the mission, you have to compete in a second eKart race. Talk to Taylor to hand over the battery and you’ll be thrown in the second race shortly after. This is a bit tricky since the uphill climb has moderate turns and the downhill part of the track near the finish line has hairpin turns. The eKart is capable of making tight turns so if you time easing up the throttle or pressing the brake gently as you make the turn, you should be able to clear the hairpins without losing too much momentum.

After winning the race, you now have to find a velocity chip to upgrade your eKart. Head to the marked location inside a Nudle office. There’s no guards to be worried about so you just need to deploy your jumper, make it go through the slide and pick up the chip.

Once you have the chip, head to the next eKart race again and talk to Taylor. (you can fast-travel by hovering your pointer above the eKart map marker) Your eKart will be much faster now so you should get adjusted to it for a bit. The track has few straight parts where you can use your speed boost and at least two very tricky turns that can land you off track if you overcompensate. The 90-degree turn is found near the finish line and you have to really hit your brakes here and turn at the same time to avoid overshooting to the barrier. After winning the race, the whole side operation will be complete.
