The Quick & Dirty Mini-Guide to Coins & Clams
OK first there are two ways to obtain wealth in the game -- earn it or buy it. Note that nowhere in that did the words "cheat" or "use an exploit" appear -- the reason for that is that we don't do that for several reasons, but the most important one is that when they catch you using exploits -- and they will if you do -- they instantly lose their sense of humor and ban you.
So with THAT out of the way, there are two ways to obtain wealth in the game - and wealth is required because money makes Quahog Go 'Round!
Method One: Purchase It
While this is probably the easiest method to be honest we don't recommend it because (a) it can get really expensive since you know, it requires you to spend real-world money, and (b) obtaining wealth -- at least Coin Wealth -- in QfS is really not that hard.
The good news is that for the most part your need for Coins will generally keep pace with your ability to earn it, so hey, there ya go, no imbalance to speak of!
Clams? Yeah well Clams are a different story... Your Clam income will probably never keep pace with your need since your "need" for Clams is completely relative and pretty much is linked to how bad you want object X.
Purchasing wealth is accomplished very easily since the game uses the same Bank Display to tell you how much wealth you possess to allow you to get more. That is to say all you need to do is tap on the Bank Display for either Coins or Clams (depending on which one you want) and it will open their respective store screens!
The Clam Shack!
The Clam Shack is the In-Game Store through which you purchase Clams, which are available in the following packaged deals:
** There is actually a Quest associated with this package in the game called Buy 1 Get 1...
The Coin Cove!
The Coin Cove is the In-Game Store through which you purchase Coins, which are available in the following packaged deals:
You may have noticed that there is a disproportionate valuation of the Coins in the game, particularly when you consider that they are so easy to come by thru the Quest and Collection system... Just saying.
Note: Sales Tax may be added to the above package totals depending on where you live...

Method Two: You Earn Them
If this sounds sarcastic, well maybe it is a little, but here is the thing - no matter how the game is edged towards encouraging the player to spend real-world money on in-game currency, the system has to allow for the acquisition of wealth via in-game actions, or the Economy simply would not work.
That being the case you should bear in mind that there are two methods for obtaining Coin wealth in the game -- fast and slow.
Surprisingly the fast method, which entails repeating the same low-timer Tasks over and over with all of your Characters is also the quickest method for building wealth - but that is of course at the expense of boredom.
There are steps you can take to make it less boring - like watching TV, listening to audio books, and the like.
The second method - the long one - simply requires you to remember to set all of your Characters to a Task before you sign off for the day. This method is much slower than the fast method due to the fact that you are basically only getting in one Task a go, but on the other hand it does not require you to DO anything in order to use it, which is why it is considered boredom-free.
That nicely covers Coins but when the subject changes to Clams it ends up being bad-news / bad-news I am afraid, because there is no way to build a large Clam reserve through game play.
Clam acquisition via Tasks is a fixed and predictable process in the game. You know you will get one Clam when you do your three daily actions in the multiverse, but that is the only given for Clams in the game.
There is also a random chance to obtain Clams from the more complicated and important Tasks and Quests, but that is neither consistent or predictable.
Basically the only option available if you are not spending money on Clams is to slowly save up the amount you need via the methods that are available - which means the trickle from the multiverse and what Clams you can eek out of the Quest System.

There you have it, the Quick & Dirty Coins and Clams Mini-Guide. I wish that it offered better news in terms of Clams but hey, it doesn't. As for Coins, well there it is good news all the way around! The moral of that story? Buy Clams but NEVER buy Coins.

This game is ridiculous. You have to pay for everything if you want to get ahead quickly in the game. I've had this game for awhile now and I'm still trying to get Stevie. The drop rate of some of the things I need is very low. It's so frustrating.
Note to others do not take the survey if u don't want to pay for an offer it is NOT FREE! plus it still hasn't given me my coins or clams.
What the hell its not giving me the clams
Playing the game on my laptop. I'm Level 29 and still no multiverse! Any thoughts?
You only get an multiverse if you play to game on your phone because you have to log in facebook.
So how do u get the code for free clams

How do i get more neighbors?

Anyone wanna add?
Sure.. Not sure how to add ppl... I just started a few days ago
I have purchased coins AND clams and when my game auto updated, my number of clams dropped drastically to ONLY 7 clams and I purchased thethe $4.99 package because I am in need of enough to get Consuela AND hooker Peter, also upon downloading I NEVER got any FREE clams and I didn't get the Christmas scene/ tree/ snowmen/ mall Santa's uuntil over a overmonth after downloading, I JUST got the Christmas Quahog a week ago but I had to uninstall/rei stall to get it AND it started ALL over with the scene of the fight that destroyed the town I had never seen but zero's out my coins and clams and quit allowing me to visit my 2 neighbors AND ollieland!!! Quahog makes me angry daily!!!
how do I add more neighbors
What the hell I have done a lot to earn my clams but it isn't giving them to me.
Yeah I'm on level 25 and I don't have any claims it sucks
I can't claim clams. I haven't received any since starting playing the game!! 😓
