The next installment to the Championship Series is here. WTC 2006 leaves little to be disappointed about. The last game left off with a section in the shadows, and thia game allows you to duel actual Duel Monsters. It's more like Eternal Duelists Soul, than anything else. It's still one of the better games.
Graphics. Not great but still, it's a GBA game so it's not surprising. The cards simulator is good, but still leaves much to be desired. A graphic on the side of the screen allows you to see the card better, but perhaps they should have gone the extra mile like they did with World Wide Edition.
Music, just like all other Yu-Gi-Oh! GBA games is just a parody of musicals and chase-like music. Not much difference from the older games, same sounds for commands, rejection, cancel, accept, things like that. They should really consider the next game to be less musically challenged.
People with low patience will chuck this game out the window. With opponents from every booster pack series, from kuriboh to VWXYZ Dragon Cannon, patience will be tested. Strategic play is required to even stand a chance. Overall, if you want to sharpen your skills, play this game.
You will be playing this game much longer than you ever did any other Yu-Gi-Oh! Game ever made. With cards from every series from BEWd to Shadow of Infinty, the strategies are endless. Whoever your faveorite duelist is, his strategy is at your disposal, use this game to learn the way to beat anyone.
Basically, this game is both a stress reliever and a stress causer, many people won't be able to handle it. If you see a large pile of these games burning in a corner, thank all the short fuses in the world. Overall, this game is not recomended for people with high blood pressure. =)
