Introduction

This is a new role playing game from level 5. It puts you in control of Jaster Rogue, a young boy from the planet Rosa who always dreamed of leaving and traveling space. One day when a huge beast attacks the city and Jaster gos to fight it, he meets the legendary hunter Desert Claw, who gives him his legendary sword, Desert Seeker. Seeing the legendary sword, a crew of space pirates mistakes him for Desert Claw. Jaster joins the crew a fulfills his dream of traveling space. But Jaster soon learns he must stop the gigantic corporation Daytron, from taking over the galaxy.

Graphics

Many people have complained about the graphics in this game but I thought they were pretty good. The battles look nice and the cutscenes are done very well. Also the special attacks look very good. The backgrounds though are a little plain for the most part. But overall the graphics are good(but this is a rpg, who cares about graphics anyways)

Sound

The sound is good for the most part in this game. The music when you are out of battle is very good. On the downside though, everytime you win a battle you here the same victory music and your characters do the same celabration and it can become annoying after a while. The voiceovers for this game are done well for the most part, but it becomes very annoying when you are lost and just walking to random places hoping to find the corect location, and the characters kepp saying stuff like "i needed the exercise anyways" "choosing this route was a bad choice" "are you sure this is the tright way" But overall the sound is good.

Gameplay

The gameplay for this game is very good. The action is not turn based like Final Fantasy, instead it is done in real time. The fighting is very simple but the special moves add a lot of depth to it. The copntrols for the game work as good as possible but there is ONE MAJOR PROBLEM HERE, the camera ranges from bad to horrendous. Many times you will not even be able to see your character while he is in battle.The camera is my biggest complaint with the whole game.

Lastability

This is not a game that you will be finishing in a afternoon, or a weekend, or a week for that matter. You can easily play this game for 100+ hours. There are some parts in this game though,where it gets very repetitive but for the most part the game keeps new content coming at you. The storyline is not a short one and after completing the main quest there are plenty of weapons to get, leveling to do, dungeons to loot, and even a bug fighting league to enter,calle Insectron. This game will keep you playing for a very long time.

Overall

This is a game that I think is going to be liked by the rpg fans, such as myself, and shunned by others. The fighting is good and it keeps you playing for a long time, but the story isn't very creative and the camera is terrible( if you have played Devil May Cry 3 before, that is what this camera is like.)But with that said, I loved the game, and It think most other rpg fans will too.
