Pilot Academy is a very good game. It is the first flight simulater to come to PSP as many other flight simulaters are for PC or other playstation consoles. It has very original planes. it has some old war planes, like the very first plane to come out. In these war planes they have the English and the German. There is not much difference between the two though. it has the spitfire planes with weapons, and there is one old plane with rockets attached to it as well as a cannon. it also has the military plane witch carries around the tanks and other equipment needed for military needs. it has the nighthawk stealth plane witch has air to ground missiles, cannons and flaires. there are other jets for instance the f-18 hornet wich has air to ground missiles, air to air missiles, flares and a cannon. there is also a f-15.
There is also a tomcat
There are also many civilian aeroplanes.
There is the 747 pilot academy plane which in fact is very hard to control
It also has a president 747 which is specially made. If you ask me this game is very specific.
It has the global express which is a small plane that carries around 50 passengers and crew. This plane is very hard to control.
It has a small two seater plane which you use to take pictures for people on missions.
There are indeed many other planes.
The graphics are superb in the way of a handheld consle. The way in which they are formed is beyond me. It has every little detail, for example the wheels compared to how big the 747 is are really small, so they did well to actually get every detail in. The actual planes themeselves are very precise too. They are all curved instead of in some games when you get the lines all straight, which everyone will agree is quite boring and makes you feel cheap somehow?! They have included all the windows in the planes and did well, especially on the 747 with over 100 windows each side! They especially did well on the president plane because insted of putting all the windows in just like on the normal 747 to waste time, they put all the windows in the specific order in which it makes it look realistic. They also made all the ground materials realistic too. The runway look like real runway from the air, it's just like your in the plane yourself looking down at the ground!
The sound is magnificant. It is very precise in how it picks out the different features of a plane and puts it together to make the sound realistic. For instane, the propeler planes all sound like they have a propeler but they sound different in the way of how powerfull and the size they are. The jet palens are the second loudest because when they have all there speed topped out they are louder then when they are with low power. It is even louder when they have the afterburner on. It makes the plane jump forwards with the sound going so much higher. The civilian 747 is by far the loudest plane on the game. It is the most realistic but also the most hardest plane to control.
The gameplay in fact is quite hard. It has the missions that are nearly impossible like the mission with the tornado. On that mission you have to get to the airport in the desert with loads of tornadoes around, and when you go to land it sort of blows away form the runway which makes it really difficult. In a way I suppose it is a good thing it is hard because it gives you a challenge.
It lasts quite long saying that the missions are hard. It lasted me about 5 weeks to complete all the mission. After you completed the missions you can still fly around on free flight. This is so cool because you can do whatever you want and enjoy the clouds.
Overall, I recomend this game to everyone no matter what your tastes are. The thing on this game that is so cool is when you blow up tanks on the military fianl test. It is like in real life and is one of the best games I have ever played. I recomend this to all out there.

P.S I hope this helps
